The story of Emily and Brad and their wedding at Petrata Castle
Petrata Castle stands not far from Assisi, in beautiful Umbria.
It is an 'ancient fortress of the 14th century immersed in nature and surrounded by a private park of 50 hectares, with pleasant and romantic views set in a frame composed of olive groves, orchards, woods and green meadows.
The spaciousness of the location and the different possible solutions allow guests to experience every corner of the Castle, each one different from the other, creating a unique reception.
Emily and Brad's wedding at Petrata Castle was from a photographic point of view, a unique event. Two solar and in love young guys, who celebrated their day basing everything on celebration and happiness. The strong emotions they had for each other were captured and felt by everyone present. This helped create an atmosphere of joy.
I had the pleasure of working with these two young men, with kind hearts and sensitive souls for everything around them. They were extremely grateful to have celebrated their wedding at Petrata Castle, and I was happy to have had the opportunity to get to know them and tell them about their day.
In conclusion, I wanted to do a little personal reflection after this recently concluded year.
The year 2022 was a very busy season for me, but one that allowed me to visit many new locations and regions throughout Italy. I traveled from north to south and met couples from all over the world. I have photographed events just about everywhere, from a wedding at a masseria in Puglia, south Italy, to a wedding in Trentino, north Italy; from the wedding of Canadian boys in Tuscany, to the wedding at Petrata Castle in this story.
Many couples have remained in my heart, and I can say with certainty that some moments I will not easily forget. Always putting all my sensitivity on the line in order to portray love can have both its negative and positive sides. But I must admit that for me and my work, there is nothing more motivating than traveling, meeting new people and especially new cultures. From which I can learn, I can immerse myself and I can portray through photographs.
I am happy, as an update to March 2023, to say that this beautiful wedding at Petrata Castle has been selected by the very important world-class blog, RockMyWedding, for publication: View the Article
